In JAMES clearly in His epistle according to 1:27 clearly speaks of a widow that she must be encouraged. Equality, Liberty are the assets of women. Basing on these things our Ministry is very much concerned about the widow. Ancient history speaks in our country that the widows were cremated along with their husbands, which means they were burnt alive when their husbands lost their lives. Society has been having a contaminated view rather a notion that the widows should not attend the marriages, they should not even come across the people if they go for some noble causes.
If so it is the feeling of the society they will not be successful in their ventures. They are totally neglected and considered un-touchable. Like this the widows have been refused,banned, irritated and found no place in their lives.
They are roaming, and begging in the streets.Due to their mental harassment and the torture caused them to commit suicide and self-immolation. Particular religions played a role to persecute them in sexual affairs. They are mentally very much deprived due to their inability by all means. The society classifieds widows and widowers.More over widowers again getting remarraiges.
Widowers always look for not widows but for fresh opposite sex.There the problem arises.
Our India consists more than 1 Billion people stood as 2nd country with more population in the world.
1. Thickly populated.
2.Density of the population in the world.
No spacious place is set up. Thatched houses than the buildings.Lack of sanitation, Lack of free ventilation
Lack of education, Badly polluted conditions are very much disturbing the nation.
Classification between strong and weak has been playing a negative role.
Generally the husbands are some how or other addicts of bad habits such as cheap liquor, Alocholic intoxicated, Chewing tobacco, Polluted nut powder, Drugs addiction etc. These things make men to die very soon. Generally in our country the girls after completion of 12 years to say in other words once they are matured even before maturity they will be given in marriage to the persons (the men) who are more than 25 to 30 years.Once they are married due to above said bad means making them to die before crossing 45 years even before that. By the time they die the production also will be more.
Calamities, cyclones, floods, fire accidents too are causing the men to die than women as their youngagement in the labor.
For your kind information men are considered as earning members the women are left as house wives. It’s ordent truth that this has been happening for the ages together.As a sentimental value also a blind belief.There fore women are considered as widows.The living style immediately changes and deteriorates their living standard.
Facilities from the Government extended to the widows are minimum even very minimum benefits but 90 % of the widows are not at all getting benefited by the government. So it's must on our part to involve with the widows and their lives to be uplifted and upgraded according to 1 THIMOTHY 5:3 and JAMES 1:27.
May i also share one more information that it is highly impossible for we can not reach all most all widows in our nation as there are millions of the ladies have been widowed.What i appeal your good self is that we are morally bound to reach few widows up to the extent that we can as per the resources are left with us.I am very much prepared to respond further more on the project proposal provided your good selves raise accordingly.
Now at least some extent our ministry concentrated to lift up the widows to demonstrate His grace, love & compassion towards few poor widows so that they may be part takers in the extension of His kingdom. Millions of the widows have been living in the society in our soil but it is not at all possible for us to reach every body due to our insufficient means. But at least over 200 widows are in our consideration rather in our target.
We have classified the widows in 2 ways as per our case study.
1. The young women who were widowed living below the line of poverty must be rehabilitated to earn their lively hood for which we need to start a tailoring center to see that the young widows are trained to live on their feet to earn their bread.
2. The aged widows who can not work must be given every month a financial support which can enable them to live in.
